Adam was one of the unwanted children the misfit who never seemed to appeal to any family, in fact the only friend he had was a little girl who was originally from Japan, but after her parents moved to old blighty they settled down for a bit, however after a few years their neighbors began to suspect what they really were and the suspicion continued to build and build. Until finally they had concrete evividence that the couple living near them were not human, their child was taken from them and placed into the care of the county after which the parents were driven from their home. Adam and Saia were inseperable until one day she bit him, after that he didn't find her all that appealing as a friend and he avoided her at all costs. And of course she was adopted, but that one little bite was the beginning of the end of his life as a human. He stayed in the orphanage until his thirteenth birthday it was at that point he decided it was time to leave (after years of neglect, abuse, moonlight strolls, ect..) So, one night he snuck out but he did so knowing that he might be caught fortunately, he was never missed (even after he left…he didn’t leave much of an impression). Adam traveled from one town to the next, never staying in one place for very long especially during the full moon when his change was at its most erratic, he was always in a rush to leave for fear that he would be chased out, in a` way he beat them to the punch by taking the initiative. (Skipping ahead twenty years because the rest of my life story really doesn’t begin until I meet my brother) Adam had often thought about traveling to France just as a passing fancy so he stowed away on the nearest boat he could find and as luck would have it they were on their way to Calais, as soon as they made port he made his escape only stopping long enough to replenish his supplies. Then he was back on the road again traveling through vast farmland and cutting across vineyards only to run into a man, he was troubled and muttering about how he lost his family to a vampire. At that moment Adam immediately identified with the man telling him that he was also an orphan, they were often mistaken for brothers not because they looked similar (which wasn’t the case at all) but because of the way they looked out for one another. It was only natural that they referred to one another as family, even though they were not blood related. So, at least they knew each other well enough to forgive one another. Adam only wanted liven up his brothers life and no matter how hard Falen tried to push away Adam was always there to pull him back, in a way he was the yin to his brothers yang. To be perfectly honest he did not care one whit who knew that little fact, he was always going to stand by his brother through thick and thin…no matter what. Adam paced impatiently around obviously giving serious thought to callling him back just to apologize, but he wanted to give his brother the opportunity to make the first move.
